Product description:
For determining the levels of liquids, the hydrostatic measuring principle offers many advantages not the least of which are reliability and economic efficiency. The measurement is affected neither by foam nor by agitated product surfaces. The high chemical resistance of the ceramic measuring cell and its front flush mounting allow the cleaning processes (SIP and CIP) required in the food and pharmaceutical industry. For gauge measurement in deep wells or basins, a hydrostatic pressure transmitter is suspended on a cable and measures the pressure of the water column and thus the level. A capillary tube in the connection cable joins the sensor with the atmosphere and ensures that varying barometric pressure does not influence the measuring result.
VEGA plics© instruments measure the process pressure in closed vessels and pipelines with user and service-friendly technology. The measuring cells can withstand any pressure and function reliably under all process conditions in the chemical industry and in the production of foodstuffs. VEGA pressure measuring cells compensate the influence of product temperature automatically. The cell diaphragms also have high resistance of vibration and alternating loads, as required for implementation in the petrochemical industry and in mechanical engineering.
